“Peptic Oesophagitis”
also known as “Reflux Oesophagitis”. oesophageal is an elongated tube of
muscle that attaches mouth with the stomach.
The common symptoms for
Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) are listed below:
- A persistent cough, which may
be worse at night.
- Chest pain.
- Wheezing.
- Tooth decay.
- Laryngitis (inflammation of the
larynx) which add into throat pain and hoarseness.
- Heartburn
- Acid re-flux
- Struggle/ Aching in swallowing
(odynophagia/dysphagia)
Common Advised
- Avoid smoking
- Try to avoid those foods which cause acid reflux like
spicy foods, hot drinks, coffee, alcoholic drinks.
- Try to avoid those medicine which cause acid
reflux such
as aspirin or ibuprofen
- Reduce your weight to
reduce your pressure from stomach
- Go to bed with an empty
stomach
