Symptoms of Peptic Oesophagitis and Stomach

“Peptic Oesophagitis” also known as “Reflux Oesophagitis”. oesophageal is an elongated tube of muscle that attaches mouth with the stomach. 

The common symptoms for Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) are listed below:

  • A persistent cough, which may be worse at night.
  • Chest pain.
  • Wheezing.
  • Tooth decay.
  • Laryngitis (inflammation of the larynx) which add into throat pain and hoarseness.
  •  Heartburn 
  • Acid re-flux
  • Struggle/ Aching in swallowing (odynophagia/dysphagia)
Common Advised
  • Avoid smoking
  • Try to avoid those foods which cause acid reflux like spicy foods, hot drinks, coffee, alcoholic drinks.
  •  Try to avoid those medicine which cause acid reflux such as aspirin or ibuprofen
  • Reduce your weight to reduce your pressure from stomach
  • Go to bed with an empty stomach
